Health and Hope Awards

Every year, Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics pay tribute to individuals and groups who support the clinics’ patients and exemplify the spirit and ideals of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth and those who have worked tirelessly to continue the clinics’ mission.

We are now accepting nominations for the 2024 Health & Hope Awards.

We invite individuals, groups and organizations to nominate and honor those who respond by unselfish giving of their time and talent to others in order to bring comfort, support, healing, encouragement and compassion.

The award will be presented during an award reception on October 8, 2024.

Please complete the online nomination form below. The form will remain open until June 18. Nominations must be submitted annually for reconsideration.

Individual who: Lives the spirit of Sister Rosalie Mahoney through tireless dedication and service to the mission of Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics.

Civic group, congregation, or community partner who, in the spirit of Louise de Marillac: Enables the clinics to serve our neighbors with humility and kindness, and is a bridge to connect those who have and those who have not.

Elected or appointed public official who: 1) Supports the mission and work of Saint Vincent and Duchesne Clinics, and 2) Promotes access to quality healthcare for the poor and vulnerable in our communities.

Business who: 1) Partners with the clinics to improve the health of the individuals and communities we serve, 2) Promotes healthy communities through their work in Leavenworth/Wyandotte Co. and/or 3) Promotes healthy work environments for their employees and the people of Leavenworth and Wyandotte Counties.

Current staff associate who: Encompasses the traits of Sister Helen—mission focused, calm under pressure, humble, compassionate, treat people with dignity, positive attitude and goes above and beyond for other staff members and patients.
