Amy Falk, Executive Director Caritas Clinics, Inc.
Amy Falk, Executive Director Caritas Clinics, Inc.: Amy Falk has served as executive director of Caritas Clinics, Inc. since February 2006 and has been involved with Caritas Clinics since 1989. As Executive Director, Ms. Falk has overall responsibility for planning, directing and evaluating all clinic activities.
Ms. Falk is a leader in the metro-area safety-net community. She plays an active role in the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) safety-net collaboration and the Health Councils of Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties. Since 2007, she has been a board member and served on the legislative committee of the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved.
Dr. Nalini Tella, Medical Director
Dr. Tella joined the staff as Medical Director in 2014. Dr. Tella earned her medical degree from the Andhra University Medical School in Guntur, India in 1976, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota 1979. In 2007 she received her MBA in Health Care Leadership from Rockhurst University. She is Board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tella has more than 30 years experience in private practice and has served as Medical/Associate Medical Director for a number of organizations. She has worked as a Clinical Preceptor at Kansas University Medical Center and a Guest Lecturer- UMKC Medical School. She is a member of American Medical Association, American College of Physician Executives, American Academy of Pain Management, and American College of Physicians.
Briana Cavinaw, Clinic Manager
Ms. Cavinaw has been with Saint Vincent Clinic since 2010. Ms. Cavinaw holds a B.S. degree from Emporia State University and has a background in social service. Ms. Cavinaw's work experiences ranges from working as a program manager at The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City to working as a discharge planner at Lansing Correctional Facility. Ms. Cavinaw's responsibilities at Saint Vincent Clinic include pre-qualifying new patients, overseeing patients scheduling, managing clinic staff, making presentations about the clinic and managing the daily operations of the clinic.
Gloria Guerra, Clinic Manager
Ms. Guerra has served as clinic manager at Duchesne Clinic for seven years. Ms. Guerra, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, handles clinic administration. She manages clerical personnel and translators. She oversees the pre-qualification of patients, appointment scheduling, ordering supplies and other administrative tasks.
